Samsung will have a virtual store in Decentraland’s 3D environment in an attempt to engage with customers due to the limits of the pandemic.
Officially announced on January 6th, Decentraland's immersive experience named Samsung 837X will let participants walk around in a virtual store and experience multiple metaverse features. The design will be based on an actual Samsung store in New York.
In order to join Samsung’s metaverse store, users must access Decentraland’s website and log in, or visit the link provided by Samsung. Then, players will be moved to the Samsung 837X environment where they can start the metaverse journey.

Samsung 837X will feature three different metaverse experiences and quests, with NFT badges as rewards upon completion. The first one is the Connectivity Theater where participants will be able to view Samsung’s newest developments from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which was held between January 5th and January 7th.
Likewise, users will get access to the Sustainability Forest portal where they can venture "through millions of trees - and even have a mythic encounter." This feature was implemented due to Samsung’s partnership with a global restoration project veritree to fight climate change.
The final portal is the Customization Stage where participants will be able to experience a "mixed reality live dance party". Owners of 837X NFT badges will get drafted into a raffle for a chance to win rare digital assets, applicable to their avatars.
The initial Samsung 837X digital experience will be only available for a limited time. However, Samsung promised to launch new experiences on every upcoming 837X world that "will bring different eXperiences for fans."
