Parallel to negotiations with OpenAI, the tech giant is also engaging with Google's parent company, Alphabet, to integrate the Gemini chatbot into Apple's devices. These ongoing talks, however, haven't led to an agreement yet.
Beyond partnerships, Apple has been strengthening its AI capabilities internally. The company has been actively recruiting AI experts, notably from Google, suggesting a commitment to advancing AI technologies.
In addition, Apple has also acquired two AI startups based in Zurich, Switzerland. This acquisition culminated in the establishment of a new "Vision Lab," hinting at ambitious AI projects.
