“One in three people using the internet are young adults and children, so I would really focus on building from kids’ perspective, given they are the future users.”
The panel also consisted of other various presenters, including CEO of Mindfire Foundation Pascal Kaufmann, CEO of Magic Leap Peggy Johnson, co-founder of High Fidelity Philip Rosedale, and research assistant professor at NY University Abu Dhabi Hoda Alkhzaimi.
According to Marcos A. Simplicio Jr., a professor at USP, this is the first time the university has dealt with NFTs as a result of cooperation. The token in question is a one-of-a-kind plot of land in the USM, which is being developed in collaboration with other institutions.
At first, this collaboration will consist of academics from a present arrangement dubbed UBRI that is supported by the payment protocol Ripple.
Simplicio expanded on the partnership and stated:
"USP is the first university in Latin America to have a partnership with USM to support the construction of its metaverse."
Earlier this month, during the WEF 2022, various presenters provided their views on where non-fungible tokens might be applied. In addition, they highlighted that easier accessibility of NFTs is one of the most important ways to encourage mainstream users to accept their usage.
