Assassin's Creed offers its fans a unique non-fungible token experience.
Ubisoft's hit game, Assassin's Creed, is set to launch an innovative series of customizable "smart collectibles," merging the worlds of digital and tangible.
The "smart collectibles" is set to see daylight on May 16th. The collectibles come as 3D-printed transparent cubes, each encapsulating a character figure.

Accompanying these physical figures, each collectible holder will receive a Polygon-based non-fungible token (NFT) called a "Digital Soul," which certifies ownership.
To obtain a "smart collectible," customers will have to purchase a Digital Soul NFT that comes in two rarity levels. Once the user does that, they can personalize their character, choosing poses, attire, and weapons.
When the creation is fully complete, it gets shipped to the customer's doorstep. It is worth noting that the possibilities of customization are linked to the rarity of the "smart collectible."
All "smart collectibles" are paired with an embedded near-field communication (NFC) chip located on the 3D cube and a companion app. A simple scan or tap on the physical collectibles unlocks the app, allowing users to undertake achievements and bag various "items, recipes, loot boxes," and more.
The intriguing venture is part of a larger project in collaboration with Integral Reality Labs, dubbed "co-reality platform," by the team behind Assassin's Creed. The platform is set to feature a marketplace for trading Assassin's Creed collectibles and will facilitate the sale of the "Pieces of Eden Pass" NFTs.
The collection includes 1,500 tokens, offering unique perks, experiences, and a "unique limited edition" Digital Soul NFT.
