One Fight Arena is set to offer fans an immersive and interactive Web3 gaming experience.
Notre Game, a subsidiary of game software company Animoca Brands, has teamed up with Singaporean mixed martial arts (MMA) brand One Championship to develop the mobile strategy game One Fight Arena.
It is worth noting that the game will be directly associated with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). In the game, MMA athletes will become NFTs, providing owners with verifiable authenticity and data on character rarity.

According to the announcement shared on April 27th, the game will feature a selection of One Championship's fighters and will emphasize "strategic gameplay" through a first-person perspective.
In the announcement, the company noted that although it is excited to give users an opportunity to explore Web3, One Fight Arena will also be available as a free-to-play mobile game for those who prefer not to engage with NFT elements.
At the time of writing, not much has been disclosed about One Fight Arena. However, One Championship co-founder and Group President Hua Fung Teh expressed excitement about providing MMA fans with a fresh experience.
We're thrilled to work with an industry leader in Animoca Brands to launch One Fight Arena, our first Web3-enhanced video game. This partnership will give us the opportunity to engage with our global fanbase at a deeper level.
Animoca Brands' Executive Chairman Yat Siu shared a similar sentiment, emphasizing the importance of incorporating Web3 elements in the game's development.
Our partnership with One to create One Fight Arena will enable the fans of the world's largest martial arts organization to access a novel gaming experience with true digital ownership at its core.
Based on the announcement, the game is set to launch for player testing in the fourth quarter of 2023 and launch globally in the first quarter of 2024.
The launch of One Fight Arena demonstrates the growing convergence of gaming, NFTs, and the MMA world, promising an exciting future for fans and players alike.
