The fresh arrivals will assist the council in supporting its strategic growth.
The Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) has recently announced that it hired two new executives that have significant experience in foreign policy to boost the CCI’s policy and regulatory affairs team.
According to the official announcement issued on July 26th, the council hired a Washington expert Linda Jeng, who has previously worked in the Federal Reserve Board and Treasury Department, as its chief global regulatory officer and general counsel.

Likewise, Brett Quick, former deputy chief of staff for House Financial Services Committee chair Emeritus Spencer Bachus, will join the CCI as its head of government affairs for North America.
Commenting on the latest arrivals, Sheila Warren, former head of blockchain and distributed ledger technology at the WEF and currently CEO of the CCI, mentioned that the organization is looking forward to working with such experienced pioneers to push crypto innovation. She added:
"Brett Quick and Linda Jeng will bring the passion and talent to be a force in crypto policy and support leaders as the industry continues its development."
The CCI, a global alliance advocating for inclusive regulation that was formed last year, is currently located in Washington and San Francisco. The council is backed by a number of supporters, including crypto exchanges Coinbase and Gemini, as well as a16z, Block, Ribbit Capital, Paradigm, and Fidelity Digital Assets.
The official report also read that the council is working toward providing support for policymakers to solve issues related to sanctions evasion.
Last summer, the CCI hosted a Bitcoin (BTC) virtual event and discussed ways how to drive the adoption of the digital asset.
