Suk-yeol has already listed 4000 NFTs on the CCCV marketplace, featuring pictures of himself. Each digital asset is sold for 50,000 Korean Wons, which is about $41.09. While there hasn’t been a very high demand for these NFTs, with only 30 sold at the moment of writing, the candidate is hoping to issue even more tokens, over 22K to be exact.
While such means of reaching the presidency is quite unconventional, Yoon Suk-yeol is currently leading with a 39% approval rating. As far as his popularity goes, the conservative candidate has promised crypto-friendly policies and hopes to receive more votes by offering limited edition NFTs.
