According to the official announcement issued on July 19th, the go-getting series, inspired by Hollywood history, will be called The Mogies and comprise a collection of 1,923 NFTs, resembling the 100th anniversary of the Hollywood sign that was set up in 1923.
The main story of the animated series will revolve around different Mogies characters that will stroll down the streets and resemble various celebrities and personalities, including talk show hosts, action superheroes, fighters, villains, and more. On top of that, each spoofing is reportedly going to be tiered by rarity, where the top 23 NFTs will get their own star on a virtual Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The official report also read that the project is planning to roll out the Mogieland metaverse, featuring well-known locations like the Hollywood Hills or Sunset Boulevard. More notably, Mogies NFT holders will have the opportunity to attend virtual red carpet events, concerts, and fashion shows, own personal virtual land, communicate with others in the virtual reality spaces and even gain access to some nifty behind-the-scenes elements.
Tran and his team at Chavvo Studios, the award-winning NFT-driven production firm that has worked with Marvel, Sony, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon, are expected to design the animated series. The American animator noted:
“Mogieland is a homage to Hollywood, to our favorite characters, actors, and movies that have made us.”
On top of that, Tran also shed some light on the partnership with Mogul Productions, stating that the marketplace will help Chavvo Studios to be at the forefront of the NFT space. Likewise, he added that there aren't many companies that support the animation-driven community, so Chavvo is really grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an innovative TV production firm.
