However, recently, the head of gaming Ryan Wyatt announced that he will be leaving the biggest video-sharing platform YouTube, in February.
He is joining Polygon Studios as CEO. Furthermore, Wyatt didn’t hesitate to emphasize his eagerness for Web3 development and blockchain, as he was talking about his resignation.

Web3 is an idea for a new iteration of the World-Wide-Web based on the blockchain, which includes decentralization and token-based economics concepts.
Speaking of the new role he stated:
​​I will be focusing on growing the developer ecosystem through investment, marketing, and developer support and bridging the gap between Web 2.0 and 3.0. I'll be leading the Polygon Studios organization across gaming, entertainment, fashion, news, sports, and more.
To put it simply, Polygon studios is a layer-two Ethereum scaling network that focuses on gaming and non-fungible tokens. The aim of the firm is to develop decentralized gaming, attract new enthusiasts to its NFT token ecosystem, and of course, make Polygon a proficient blockchain for the Web3 transition.
Furthermore, Polygon (MATIC) plans to take action on $100 million projects, that will be led by its subsidiary studio.
In his last Tweet regarding the leaving of the video-sharing platform, Wyatt wrote how much he loved his experience with YouTube. He also talked about how he came to the industry with a goal to help give gamers a voice and represent their needs every day.
He also mentioned his gratitude towards Susan Wojcicki and Robert Kyncl, for giving him a chance to lead this initiative.
Additionally, Polygon studios said they are looking forward to working with him, and gave him a warm welcome.
