@RichardPtardio, a parody account on X, donated $69,000 worth of cryptocurrency to a global children’s charity after receiving a large number of memecoins named after the account, Richard Ptardio (PTARDIO).
On December 17, the parody account announced he had been sent 700 million PTARDIO tokens, created using Pump.fun. Initially worth $53,250, the tokens quickly surged by over 1,700%, reaching nearly $1 million in value within hours.
It is common for memecoin creators to send large amounts of tokens to individuals who inspire their creations. However, the decision to use the proceeds for charity was widely appreciated.

Discussed this matter over luncheon with Mrs. Ptardio, and we are in agreement: whoever created this coin did so entirely without my knowledge or consent.
He then stated his intention to sell the tokens and donate the proceeds. True to his word, he contributed 313.4 Solana
