Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA) recently conducted a survey to evaluate the thoughts of its members as well as blockchain gaming professionals on the current state of the blockchain gaming industry.

The survey report suggests that 51% of respondents believe player onboarding and accessibility is the biggest challenge facing the industry. However, poor gameplay and the low-quality player journey were the second most commonly cited challenge, with 37.2% of respondents identifying it as an issue.
The latter appears to be a heating concern, as the issues related to game quality were rated 5th place in the last year’s BGA report.
“Blockchain game developers should understand that games need to work for the player. Co-founder and CEO of Unix Gaming, Mirko Basil Doelger, said.
A total of 347 professionals representing 252 different projects or companies in the blockchain sector responded to the survey. The majority of respondents were young adult males working for blockchain gaming companies in middle and top management positions.
