The grammy-winner, singer, and songwriter, John Legend, strongly stepped into the world of non-fungible-tokens by assisting in launching a new NFT platform, that is aimed specifically at entertainers and musicians.
The singer will be a Chief Impact Officer, working on drawing artist and their fan bases. Furthermore, the platform OurSong will allow artists to tokenize and sell their creations additionally giving their fans rewards such as access to private chatrooms and unreleased music. This could be a new chapter for pop culture enthusiasts.

Speaking of those who do like the subject of NFTs, Legend spoke on a Bloomberg interview saying that he is mostly concentrated on his music, nonetheless, he wishes that the platform will be a way for people to connect:
When I think about what I want to do, I try to get involved with projects that I think will make the world more connected.
There are a few other well-known names helping with the project such as the co-founder of digital music streaming service KKBOX, Chris Lin, who will be the CEO of the project.
The co-founders didn’t provide much information about the financial details, nevertheless, Lin indicates that the platform won’t require users to have crypto wallets. Stating that:
