The American multinational technology company Google has announced the search for fresh talent to lead the Web3 marketing team.
According to the job listing, the “Head of Product Marketing” will be responsible for creating messaging, thought leadership, and customer references for the various sectors of the Web3 audience to increase awareness of Google Cloud solutions. The full-time job position is located in places such as New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Sunnyvale.

Moreover, Amit Zavery, Vice president at Google Cloud, outlined his aim for making Google Cloud platform the primary choice for devs in Web3:
“While the world is still early in its embrace of Web3, it is a market that is already demonstrating tremendous potential with many customers asking us to increase our support for Web3 and crypto-related technologies.”
In addition, the applicants must have a Master’s degree or similar practical experience, 10 years of experience in B2B, as well as expertise in leading a team and coordinating sales, product, and engineering to land go-to-market.
On top of that, apart from understanding the Web3 community, the candidates should possess excellent project management, problem-solving, written, and analytical skills, while bringing experience from working with devs and various startups, and other preferred qualifications listed in the job offer.
Earlier this year, Google stated that it would create a crypto unit based on "blockchain and other next-gen distributed computing and data storage technologies."
In other news, back in March, the digital asset investment platform Nexo announced that it would expand its reach in the Web3 technologies by taking up FinTech and crypto startups under the $150M fund.
