Haas F1 Team, an American-licensed Formula One racing team, has partnered with the largest non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace in terms of trading volume, OpenSea.
According to the announcement shared on November 3rd, during the collaboration, OpenSea and Haas F1 Team will be working on producing custom NFTs, which “helps fans get closer to the team and brings exciting and differentiated collections to the NFT community.”

On top of that, OpenSea’s logo is set to appear on the Haas F1 Team VF-22 series cars driven during Formula 1 championships.
When talking about the collaboration, OpenSea Vice President (VP) of Product Shiva Rajaraman noted:
We're looking forward to bringing innovative collections to life with the Haas F1 Team, building new experiences for their community of dedicated fans, and providing new ways for everyone to get even closer to the action.
On the other hand, Haas F1 Team Principal Guenther Steiner highlighted that the company is exceptionally excited to make its first steps into the NFTs environment.

It is worth noting that racing brands, especially Formula 1 teams, are getting more involved in the Web3 world. In April, crypto exchange FTX and F1 team Mercedes-AMG Petronas launched a collection of NFT collectibles related to the Miami Grand Prix and other 2022 races.
In more recent news, at the end of September, F1 team McLaren Racing unveiled its crypto-inspired car livery created in collaboration with Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX.
