Starting April 6th, Koda or Vessel NFT holders will be able to purchase Gucci KodaPendant.
Gucci, the high-end fashion brand, has teamed up with Yuga Labs to introduce a unique pendant for the Otherside Metaverse, accessible as both a non-fungible token (NFT) and a physical item.
The neckless made out of 925 silver, named the "KodaPendant," is scheduled to launch on April 6th, exclusively for Koda or Vessel NFT holders, who represent creatures or avatars within the Otherside Metaverse.

The physical Koda-shaped pendant, featuring "GG" engraving, hangs on a 50cm chain. With a limited run of 3,333 pieces, each pendant carries a price tag of 450 ApeCoin (APE), over $1,900 at current valuations.
Once Koda or Vessel NFT holder acquires the neckless, their NFT metadata will be enhanced with a KodaPendant attribute, resulting in a visible modification to the animated character associated with the token.
The official KodaPendant website reads:
Pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in both digital and physical spaces, Otherside Relics by Gucci represents the first chapter of a broader partnership between Yuga and Gucci in which fashion, entertainment, and Web3 collide.
On top of that, in a blog post dated April 3rd, Yuga Labs stated that the collaboration seeks to "push the boundaries at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and gaming." Moreover, Yuga Labs added:
Throughout our extensive partnership, we will work together to engage Voyagers in immersive experiences at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and technology.
It is worth noting that in August 2022, Gucci started accepting APE as a payment method across its stores in the United States.
This partnership highlights the ongoing theme of partnerships between luxury fashion brands and Web3 companies. A similar initiative was launched in August 2022 between Tiffany & Co and CryptoPunks, allowing CryptoPunk holders to receive Tiffany & Co pendants designed according to the owned NFT.
