One crypto miner managed to sweep 6.25 BTC on the Solo CK mining pool at a 126 TH/s hash rate.
Even though he had odds stacked against him, with a hash rate of a single mining rig, the algorithm picked out and awarded the miner with a generous amount of BTC, worth around $266K.
The miner managed to beat others with an even lower than average hash rate. According to data by Blockchain.com, the average BTC mining hash rate for January 11, 2021, is 191.42M TH/s.

Admin of Solo CK Con Kolivas congratulated the miner, and called the occurrence a "once in a lifetime chance." He told followers on Twitter that it was quite uncommon, but definitely possible for a miner with an average hash rate.
However, it is very unlikely to see something like this happening again any time soon due to the number of miners with multiple setups having the edge in solving such blocks. Kolivas told followers that the lucky miner had approximately a 1 in 10,000 chance of mining BTC the block.
At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin rose back up a bit, with a 0.98% increase, and, currently, standing at an average of $42,557.50 price per coin.
