The cryptocurrency exchange will be launching the first-ever "three-part film" based on the world-renowned NFT collection.
With the digital asset market reaching immense heights over the past several months, the industry seeks to familiarize people with blockchain technologies through various media domains.
According to a Twitter post by Coinbase, the crypto exchange will be bringing the Bored Ape Yacht Club brand, alongside the recently launched ApeCoin, to the big screen, with a chance for the community to be part of the Degen Trilogy.

When entering the official website dedicated to the trilogy, you are only greeted with a well-known saying in the crypto industry: "Something is coming. Probably nothing." However, users can connect their Coinbase wallets and get more familiar with the initiative.
The Degen Trilogy will be set around the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in a modern-day Manhattan, with a chaotic setting and a "new class of social adept, versed in the constantly re-invented tools of an ever accelerating economy."
In fact, BAYC owners, who’d like to get their NFTs featured in the movie, can submit their Apes by connecting their Coinbase wallets and hiding an "Easter Egg" - presumably placing the BAYC NFT somewhere in an inconspicuous place of the setting.
Not only that, owners of Bored Apes that make the cut for the Degen Trilogy will be rewarded with $10K worth of $APE or Bitcoin. The submission deadline is set for April 13, 11:00 AM PST, ending approximately 11 hours after this article has been published. The pilot episode of the trilogy will premiere at the NFT.NYC event.
