According to the official announcement issued on July 21st, from now on, users of the Razer Silver platform, which currently has over 175 million active customers, will be able to convert their points into Cake DeFi vouchers through the rewards catalog.
This will pave the way for fans to gain access to a number of digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Furthermore, as part of the deal, CakeDeFi, which has already paid out $317M in rewards to its users, will appear on the Razer Silver Website.
On top of that, users wishing to receive a $5 Cake DeFi voucher, can redeem at least 9000 Razer Silver points. The discount will reportedly expire on August 20, 2022.
The official report read that vouchers redeemed on Cake DeFi, at the current market rate, will be automatically converted into Cake DeFi’s native token DFI, which will then be allocated into the Cake DeFi staking pool. The program will pay rewards every 12 hours.
Julian Hosp, CEO of Cake DeFi, commented on the partnership between the two parties and noted that the initiative will bridge the gap between gaming, crypto, and decentralized finance (DeFi) products. He added:
“Through this collaboration, we have lowered the barrier to entry to the crypto ecosystem to provide Razer Silver gamers access to crypto assets on Cake DeFi in a seamless manner and provide them with class-leading rewards.”
