The massively growing adoption of digital assets in Africa has attracted the interest of various corporations that are eager to participate in this booming sector.
According to the official statement released on May 21, the Binance-backed Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour (BCAT) will finally see the light of day in a few days. The initiative seeks to encourage crypto acceptance among Nigerian youth by reaching out to various university students, particularly those in South-Eastern Nigeria.
Actually, BCAT, an initiative aimed at bringing blockchain education to people who need it the most, launched back in 2019 and managed to reach more than 60,000 Africans.

During Binance BCAT 2022, attendees will be able to learn about crypto, blockchain technology, and social finance (SocialFi), as well as get to know more about NFTs, and explore the concepts of Metaverse, Move2Earn, and P2E.
Africa is home to nearly a billion people spread over more than 50 countries, and it boasts one of the world's largest young populations. There is an urgent need to capitalize on available resources in order to build a flourishing society for the citizens. The campaign will begin in Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu, south-east of Nigeria, on June 4, at 9 AM. The event will also move across Uganda, Ghana, and Cameroon.
