This application features an intuitive, integrated platform for discovering, purchasing and trading digital artwork through MICRO LED, Neo QLED and The Frame.
This essentially means that people won’t need to go on their laptops, smartphones to use NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea. Likewise, users will be able to showcase their already owned NFTs and look through other art that will be featured on supported marketplaces.
Also, it could be useful for traders who want to track the price of their favorite NFTs, obviously, if the application will support NFT price trackers.
Currently, Samsung hasn’t yet released which exchange platforms or marketplaces will be supported by the upcoming Smart TVs. However, the company assured its customers that the quality of NFT art won’t be affected.
Samsung wasn’t the only one to spearhead the metaverse. Other large companies have been heavily investing in NFT metaverse projects, for instance, Ferrari teamed up with a startup blockchain Velas for a potential release of non-fungible tokens.
The upcoming Smart TVs with NFT support are said to be showcased at CES 2022 from January 5th to January 8th.
