The Yacht Club collections have seen an increase in sales after the growing popularity of NFTs, with over $700M worth of transactions on OpenSea.
Data gathered from DuneAnalytics showed that OpenSea had huge NFT trading volumes just at the beginning of 2022. This was linked to sales of the Bored Ape NFT collection which gathered a lot of attention after purchases were made by celebrities like Eminem.
Just over the period of 3 days, the OpenSea marketplace saw over $700 million worth of NFT transactions, with January the 3rd being the most active day - almost $256M in 24 hours.
