OpenAI faced a major outage affecting ChatGPT just as the AI tool debuted its integration with Apple’s Siri.
This integration allows Siri to use ChatGPT’s capabilities for advanced responses, including handling inquiries about photos and documents.
The network disruption began on December 11, with reports logged on Downdetector starting at 11:07 PM UTC. Within 15 minutes, user complaints surged to 1,532 reports. Alongside ChatGPT, OpenAI’s video generation model, Sora, also encountered issues.
