A group of "industry leaders, policy experts, and everyday crypto-enthusiasts" is rallying behind Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, aiming to support her campaign through a movement called "Crypto4Harris".
This group has urged Harris to develop a "nuanced policy stance that positions America as a leader in digital assets".
In a recent X post, the organization announced plans to host a virtual Town Hall on August 15. This event will feature US lawmakers and prominent industry figures, including billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban.

Cuban has been publicly critical of the Republican Party and initially intended to vote for Joe Biden until the President withdrew from the race.
Although he supported Biden, Cuban did express dissatisfaction with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Gary Gensler's actions against crypto firms, saying they could "cost Joe Biden the election".
After Biden announced he would not seek reelection, Cuban told Politico that he believed Harris would be "far more open to business, <artificial intelligence>, crypto, and government as a service" compared to the current administration.
The Harris campaign has recently welcomed Gene Sperling, a former Ripple board member, and David Plouffe, a former member of the Binance Global Advisory Board, as advisers. However, she has yet to publicly outline her stance on digital asset policies.
Overall, the push from "Crypto4Harris" shows a growing interest among crypto supporters in influencing mainstream political agendas, especially as they see a potential ally in Kamala Harris.
