In his video, Logan Paul claims he never scammed his fanbase and called Cofeezilla’s videos “deeply unethical, dangerously misleading, and illegal.”
Logan Paul, an American YouTuber and social media personality known for many controversial decisions, has threatened to sue fellow Youtuber Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen over scam allegations.
The dispute between Logan Paul and Stephen Findeisen started in December when Coffeezilla issued its first three-part video series about Logan Paul’s non-fungible token (NFT) project, CryptoZoo.

Paul’s CryptoZoo NFT project was launched in 2021 on the Binance Smart Chain. In a nutshell, CryptoZoo was a game allowing users to purchase “eggs,” which would eventually hatch into animals that can be bred with each other to create so-called hybrid animals. The hatched animals were claimed to be tradable and allow customers to earn the game's native token, ZOO.
In August of 2021, Logan Paul teased the game, claiming that it is a “really fun game that makes you money.”
In one of its investigation videos, Coffeezilla used Logan Paul’s quote and stated:
CryptoZoo was supposed to be a fun blockchain game that can earn you money <...> but millions of dollars of investor money later, things are still broken.
During Cofeezilla’s three-part series regarding CryptoZoo, the man talked with more than five different people who have reportedly lost thousands of dollars by making purchases in the game. More particularly, the six people who appear in Cofeezilla’s videos claim to have collectively lost over $730 million.
On January 4th, Logan Paul issued a response video claiming that he never scammed his fanbase and called Cofeezilla’s videos “deeply unethical, dangerously misleading, and illegal.”
You led the charge to drive and monetize a narrative telling millions of people that I’m a fraud or I tried to scam my audience. That is patently false.
Nevertheless, in his video, Paul accused Coffeezilla of not verifying or substantiating any evidence. On top of that, Logan Paul stated that Findeisen knew that Paul was innocent but published the videos anyway. In the video, Paul directed a message to Coffeezilla stating: “I’ll see you in court.”
On the same day, Cofeezilla shared a snippet from Paul’s podcast “Impaulsive,” where the CryptoZoo founder stated:
The more he says and the more he continues to spread this misinformation that this was any sort of con or scam, the more I have for the lawsuit that I’m filing.
