Law enforcement is investigating whether the shots were intended to harm the former President, though no definitive conclusions have been reached at this point.
Donald Trump Jr. later shared additional information, claiming that an AK-47 assault rifle was discovered near the site.
This incident comes just two months after an attempt on Trump's life during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. That previous incident saw Secret Service agents neutralize the assailant, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks. Crooks was fatally shot during the confrontation.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the incident, the former President appears to remain in good health and continues to focus on his re-election.
