The company highlighted that its choice of Paris as its European headquarters proves Crypto.com's “long-term commitment to France.” In the announcement, Crypto.com claims that it will be hiring local talent to help expand the company’s efforts across the region, focusing on compliance, product, and business development.
Moreover, the company claims that it will work on the brand’s presence through engagement, consumer activations, and education.
In the announcement, Crypto.com Chief Operating Officer (COO) Eric Anziani noted:
We are incredibly excited to cement our commitment to France and Europe through the establishment of our regional headquarters in Paris.
Crypto.com's decision to choose Paris as its European headquarters comes only weeks after the crypto exchange received regulatory approval from France. On September 28th, Crypto.com was approved by the stock market regulator Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and registered as Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP).
"Our regulatory approval was the first important step in our journey in France, and we look forward to continuing to engage with stakeholders across sectors to help facilitate the new digital economy in France and providing customers a best-in-class crypto experience,” said COO Eric Anziani.
2022 continues to be a successful year for Crypto.com. The company received regulatory approvals from authorities in Cyprus, Italy, the United Kingdom, Greece, Singapore, Dubai, and South Korea. Moreover, it has received a pre-registration undertaking from the Ontario Securities Administration in Canada.
On top of that, Crypto.com signed sponsorship deals with Nascar, English Premier League, and Aston Martin’s Formula One.
