Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of daily trading volumes, has launched a Beta version of artificial intelligence non-fungible token (NFT) generator, dubbed Bicasso.
The generator was launched on March 1st and showed astonishing results. In less than three hours, an AI-powered NFT generator minted 10,000 NFTs.

Binance co-founder and CEO, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao was the first to announce the launch of Bicasso and a 10,000 NFT limit. Within just 2.5 hours, the platform had hit the limit.
After typing a prompt or uploading an image, the Binance AI-powered generator automatically turns the image or prompt into AI-generated art.
After the 10,000 NFT limit was reached, all other requests were sent to a waitlist for the next phase of Bicasso. It was only accessible via web browsers and available to non-US customers.
Changpeng Zhao has been actively sharing his thoughts regarding various matters on Twitter. He recently posted a Twitter thread where he sought to differentiate Binance from the bankrupt crypto exchange FTX. The move from Zhao came after a Forbes article drew parallels between Binance and the defunct crypto exchange.
On top of that, due to regulatory pressure and suspension of Binance USD (BUSD), CZ has revealed that the company is exploring stablecoins pegged to currencies other than the US dollar.
Generative art AI-powered platforms have continued to gain a foothold in the NFT world. In 2022, amidst crypto winter, most generative art collections managed to hold onto their value, with many selling for eye-watering amounts.
In other Binance-related news, on February 22nd, Binance partnered with French merchant services technology company Ingenico to allow French Binance Pay users to pay for their goods and services using crypto.
