Adidas's Triple Stripes Studio has unveiled a digital artist residency program focused on the non-fungible token (NFT) sector. The initiative aims to foster emerging talents in the Web3 space and introduce a line-up of events and NFT sales.
Triple Stripes Studio, Adidas's Web3 unit, announced its artist residency program on August 31st, with an official launch set for September 4th. The launch will be celebrated through a mix of online and in-person events, continuing until September 11th.

According to information from the program's website, with the initiative, Adidas intends to join forces with promising artists. The goal is to give these digital creators a platform to engage more deeply with Adidas and its dedicated community of collectors and enthusiasts.
The first artists to benefit from this program are Adra Kandil, known as Dearnostalgia, and Monkeemoto (Moto). Both artists will launch their art through NFT sales starting September 6th. Dearnostalgia specializes in a unique mix of photography, typography, and digital montages, while Moto's art is focused on digital illustrations that encompass fashion, landscapes, and gaming themes.
The residency program will offer both open-edition and limited-edition NFTs. The open edition works will be available for 0.03 Ether (ETH) each, equivalent to roughly $49 at present rates. Limited edition pieces will have a price tag of 0.15 ETH, worth approximately $245.
At the end of 2022, Adidas launched its first non-fungible token (NFT) wearables collection called “Virtual Gear.”
